ECG has over 10 years of experience working with clients across industries on hundreds of unique projects. We only recruit the top students at HKU through our rigorous application process, and our eight-person teams across all academic disciplines ensure that your business objectives will be met.

Our Client Partnership Process

Every semester, our Head of Engagement selects five clients that we will move forward with to develop a consulting project with over the course of 12 weeks. We provide each client with a project scope to help align our expectations.

Our Approach

Each team consists of 2 Project Directors (leadership team members), a Lead Consultant, 5 Consultants, and a Deloitte Consultant Mentor.
We select students across all academic disciplines so that every team member has their own distinct skills, backgrounds, and specialties, allowing us to unlock unique perspectives and guarantee effective business advice.
All our consultants undergo weekly training sessions and speak with industry professionals that work in companies like McKinsey & Company, Accenture, and Goldman Sachs to develop the skills needed to tackle our clients’ business pain points and devise feasible solutions.

ECG recruits HKU’s most capable and dedicated students across all disciplines. In recent years, we have accepted fewer than 15% of applicants. This talent, combined with training from industry professionals and direct mentorship with Deloitte, helps our members build their skills.
